Three "Things to Do" Rhyming Couplets

Most of my "things to do" poems are longer than two lines. Here are three that are rhyming couplets:

THINGS TO DO IF YOU ARE A ROBIN

Bring spring:
Sing!

THINGS TO DO IF YOU ARE A STAR

Waltz across the velvet night.
Then melt into the morning light.

THINGS TO DO IF YOU ARE A SHRIMP

Be small.
That’s all.

These are adorable, Elaine.

I identify most with the third one, though :).

Oh! I love "Things to do if you're a star." It would be perfect to use for summer reading this year. I've only written a couplet once (when I had to write a Shaespearean sonnet in a Brit Lit class). Maybe I should try them again.
